Taiwanese actress and Hongkong actor Eric Tsang’s ex-wife, Wang Meihua, was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Eve after doctors found a “very small tumour” in her lungs during a routine medical check-up last month.

Her doctor told her “not to worry” and that she could come back for the surgery after the holidays. However, the 63-year-old, the mother of Taiwanese singer-host Bowie Tsang, chose to have the surgery to remove the cancerous lumps early on Christmas day instead.
