Taiwanese boy band Energy celebrated their 20th anniversary earlier this month. Feel old yet?

To commemorate the special occasion, former member Toro, who left the band in 2003 to start his own media company, posted a nine-minute-long black and white video, rapping about what he went through over the past two decades.

After what felt like a never-ending monologue about his struggles over the years, Toro hinted at a possible reunion for the group, claiming that he wishes to fulfil it more than anyone does.

And let’s just say the 40-year-old didn’t get everyone's hopes up for nothing.

The band has five original members, Chang Shuwei, Kunda Hsieh, Edy Hsiao, Milk Yeh and Toro Kuo. Toro and Milk left the band in 2003 and 2005 respectively, before new member Xiao Gang joined the group in mid-2007.

On Jul 20, Shuwei took to his Facebook to surprise everyone with some recent photos of the OG members of Energy.

That’s right, even Toro, who has faded out of showbiz since he left the band, was in the picture.

“Celebrating 20 years, Energy is forever,” wrote Shuwei.

He also shared that the get-together was organised by the group’s leader Milk, and the gang had “endless memories to talk about” that night.

We mean, what’s a reunion without some serious reminiscing right?

The members, who are all in their forties, even tried to recreate the classic boy band pose which they used to do back in the day.

Needless to say, fans were overjoyed to see the members coming together again, with one fan asking: “Is it normal [for me] to be tearing up?”

Taiwanese actress Crystal Lin also commented, exclaiming that she got down “on her knees!” after seeing photos of the reunion.
