After her last Instagram selfie in April, Taiwanese pop diva Elva Hsiao suddenly went incognito from social media. Her disappearance from the public's eye quickly sparked vicious rumours once again that the singer has AIDS.

According to Apple Daily, the 39-year-old had been preparing for her latest album when her health took a turn for the worse because she was too stressed, hence she needed to take a break to “take care of herself”.
