Is there a new man in Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao's life?

Netizens seem to think so after the 44-year-old was spotted with a “handsome” Pan-Asian guy at Wang Leehom’s Taipei concert on September 10.

The pair were seated in the VIP box and between them was Elva’s pal Michelle.

Though there was little interaction between Elva and the guy that night, the media reckoned they are pretty close as he was seen taking the Mandopop star’s car to the airport when he left Taiwan.

It also noted that Elva, her brother, nephew and assistant follow him on Instagram.

According to reports, the guy, who looks to be in his 30s, is of Japanese and Scottish descent and has a keen interest in photography.

When asked if he is Elva’s new beau, her manager replied with a laugh: “No, he's a new talent we just signed."

Elva has a reputation for being a serial dater.

She’s admitted to going on dates with more than a hundred guys, mostly younger men, and has been romantically linked with Taiwanese actors Sunny Wang, 40, Kai Ko, 32, and Singaporean businessman Elroy Cheo, 38, brother of socialite Arissa Cheo.

Elva's last public relationship was with budding actor Justin Huang, who is 16 years her junior. The couple split in 2021 after dating for three years.

Elva revealed at a press conference in Beijing last month that she is currently single and very available.

"What I want now is different. If it happens, it happens. I pay attention to those that I should be paying attention to and am chatting with quite a few people now. I enjoy this feeling,” she said.
