Ella Chen 'Scolds' Fans For Being Too Quiet When Sending Her Off At The Airport

You would expect fans to get super noisy when coming face to face with their idols. 

But Taiwanese star Ella Chen's fans are one of a kind. 

Recently, one of her fans shared on Instagram a video they took of the 43-year-old former S.H.E member arriving at the Taoyuan International Airport.

Instead of the usual screaming and pushing, Ella's supporters did not utter a single word and calmly followed the star into the departure hall.

The unusual silence was so out-of-the-ordinary that the famously outgoing star could not take it.

"Good afternoon everyone, try being even quieter than this," she joked.

She then teased her fans for just pointing their phones at her face instead of talking to her. "Technological indifference! This is what I call technological indifference!" she ranted.

How often have we seen a celebrity beg her fans to be more enthusiastic? Almost never. A netizen also pointed out in the comments that this is what happens when "fans are more introverted than their idol".
