Ella Chen’s Son Is Nine Months Old And He's A Total Cutie

With his thick Crayon Shinchan-esque brows and single eyelids, Ella’s kid can pass off as a wannabe Korean boybander. While Ella has been tight-lipped about revealing her son’s Chinese name, she lets on that his English name is Daniel as she initially thought that was her husband’s name when they first met at a gathering with mutual friends. “It was only much later that I realised he was called Alvin, so we decided to name [our baby] Daniel,” shared Ella in an interview. Hurrah for troll parents?

When Ella gave birth in April last year (she was in labour for 20 hours and had no epidural), her fellow S.H.E members were one of the first to visit her in the maternity ward. Daniel was named “Strong Baby” as he was born a robust 3.088kg and 48cm tall.

Ella has also been vocal about her, erm, sex life. When Taiwanese journos daringly probed about her bedroom antics at a Taipei event, she cheekily replied that her hubby has “very strong hips” and compared their horizontal tango as akin to “being in paradise”. Er, okay, so now you know where little Daniel gets his athletic limbs from.

Like most parents, Ella is also terrified of cutting her kid's tiny toenails. "[Using] this magnifying glass is the best!" she raves.
