"Now Everyone Will Remember You": Edmond Leung, 51, Praised For Performing In The Rain With An Injured Arm
Some celebs really take 'the show must go on' to a whole new level.
Hong Kong singer Edmond Leung, 51, recently injured his arm during a work out while on his concert tour in China.
Despite his injury, he pushed on with his concert in Qingyuan. Unfortunately, it started raining heavily that night... and it was an outdoor gig.
While some fans immediately fled to seek shelter, some stayed to finish the show. That also meant Edmond had to continue performing in the rain.
According to a video shared by an audience member, a completely drenched Edmond maintained a smile on his face. He did, however, turn around to look for the organiser.
"[I] have to continue singing right?" he asked.
While we would have expected the the show to be halted — isn't it terribly dangerous to perform during a heavy downpour — it appears the answer Edmond got was: Yes, keep singing.
Hence, he continued with his performance, this time with an umbrella, seemingly not letting the harsh weather dampen his mood.
In another clip, Edmond was seen dancing in the rain.
Many netizens were impressed by how "professional" the star is, with one netizen saying: "Now everyone in Qingyuan will remember Edmond Leung".
