Edison Chen Said To Be Living In Tokyo, Hit Up These Spots If You Want To Catch A Glimpse Of Him

Once the bad boy of Hong Kong showbiz, these days, Edison Chen, 43, is better known for his streetwear label CLOT, which specialises in collaborations with hype brands such as adidas, Nike, BAPE and Bearbrick.

To focus on growing his label, Edison, who was based in California with wife Qin Shupei, 34, and daughter, Alaia, seven, is said to have recently moved to Tokyo.

Not exactly surprising as he’s been spotted in the city on numerous occasions.

In fact, Edison has been out and about so much that word has it on Xiao Hong Shu that “the whole of Tokyo has bumped into Edison Chen”.

Almost every couple of days, a fan will upload a snap with the star on the social media platform.

There have been sightings of him in Ginza, Shibuya, Nakameguro, Omotesando and hipster hood Daikanyama. As long as it's a trendy area, there's a chance you’ll bump into him, it seems.

But if you are pressed for time, your best bet is to stake out at café Sidewalk Stand at Nakameguro.

Edison reportedly lives nearby and has been frequently making coffee runs at the café, sometimes up to three times a week.

Interestingly, Shawn Yue, whom Edison is on bad terms with, is also a fan of the café.

It is not all work and no play for Edison.

Like many in Japan, the star was also seen picnicking and enjoying the cherry blossoms with his family at Yoyogi Park.

A netizen, who approached Edison for a pic, said she was pleasantly surprised when the protective dad did not oppose to Alaia being photographed. 

She also noted that Alaia appeared to have grown a lot taller and is almost up until her 1.78m-tall mum’s chest.
