Eddie Peng, Choi Siwon's friendship still going strong
The duo first got to know each other in 2015, after starring in a movie together
Taiwanese actor Eddie Peng turned 37 yesterday (March 24), and many of the actor’s celebrity friends uploaded posts online to wish him a happy birthday.
Amongst the many posts, the one by Choi Siwon of K-pop boy band Super Junior stood out the most, with the singer uploading two pictures of the duo making goofy faces.
In his caption, he wrote, “Happy birthday my brother”. In one picture, the two can be seen clinking glasses together, with Eddie pursing his lips to imitate a kiss; while in the other, they are seen posing with bags of Super Junior-branded sea salt caramel popcorn.
Eddie and Siwon first got to know each other in 2015, after working together in the movie To the Fore. Even after filming ended, the duo still kept in touch, with their friendship surviving the test of time.
Last year, Eddie journeyed over to Seoul to meet with Siwon, with the latter showing him around the city. After his visit, Siwon also uploaded a post on his Weibo, thanking Eddie for his “constant support and encouragement”.
