Hongkong singer Eason Chan got into an accident at his concert in Xi’an on Saturday (Mar 16).

The 49-year-old singer bumped his head inside a metal space capsule before emerging onto the stage.

Instead of letting the incident interrupt the show, Eason soldiered on to finish his performance without showing the slightest bit of discomfort.

In a video posted online, the bump on his forehead is seen swelling noticeably which the singer eventually decided to address.

“I was too excited to come out and as I opened the door…” he said before demonstrating how he got hit.

Later in the show, Eason decided to talk about his injury again.

“I guess my ‘head-on collision’ today might block bad luck for anyone going through a rough time,” he said.

After the gig, Eason posted a picture of himself grinning as he applied heat to his forehead on Weibo.

“I’ve never had a stroke of good luck but who knew I’d hit the jackpot in Xi’ an?” he wrote.

If Eason is able to poke fun at his injury, we think he is doing just fine.

Fans and netizens quickly commented on the post urging Eason to rest well.

“Please pay attention to your safety,” wrote a user.

Some also praised Eason for finishing the concert despite being injured.

“It looks painful! Amazing how you can sing throughout the show without showing any discomfort,” wrote a user.

Concertgoers were able to see the bump swelling as the show progressed.
The singer is still all smiles as he treated the injury.
