This 16-Year-Old Dutch Chinese Model Is China’s Newest Social Media Heartthrob
Fans recently thronged the egg tart bakery he was working at just to catch a glimpse of him.
16-year-old model Dylan Schurer is going viral in China over his exquisite mixed-race looks.
Born to a Dutch father and Chinese mum, Dylan also towers among many at 1.9m.
In a recent video posted to his Xiao Hong Shu, a small army of fans have taken to gush over Dylan as he was working for a day at a bakery specialising in egg tarts.
Describing his looks as “adorable and soft”, Dylan is constantly caught on camera shyly smiling or sticking his tongue out.
Some fans even went as far as to buy gifts such as flowers and make photo albums with pictures of him.
Of course, his presence curious onlookers, attracting many to wait in line to take selfies with him.
Despite all the attention, Dylan is seen patiently interacting with every customer and was even spotted taking the initiative to chat, in Mandarin no less, with kids who visited the bakery.
We are guessing businesses reach out to Dylan to make such appearances as his social media also showed him waitering at a dessert store and bartending.
It won’t be long till he gets talent scouted and we can only imagine how much crazier it will get should he score his first drama.
It seems netizens are on the same page as us and went on to describe Dylan's looks as “campus drama male lead”-worthy.
Not much is known about Dylan’s family though a quick check online saw his dad tag him on Instagram in a couple of family pictures.
The shots also included his mum and his older brother.
