Veteran Hongkong singer Donald Cheung Wai Mun has been hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19. The 69-year-old is in such a serious condition that doctors have advised against him going on life support should he take a turn for the worse.

Donald, who is said to be unvaccinated, has been in hospital for over a week, according to reports. His manager shared that he has been plagued with a “high fever [and] low blood oxygen levels”.

Doctors have also told him that they do not feel that Donald be put on a ventilator should he require oxygen supplementation as they “do not recommend putting the patient through suffering”. The hospital has informed his manager that “Donald’s condition has worsened and things don’t look good”.
