Korean Actor Don Lee, 51, Married “Korea’s Prettiest Fitness Trainer”, Who Is 17 Years His Junior, Last Year

Korean actor Don Lee, AKA Ma Dong-Seok, 51, is best known for his breakout performance in Korean hit movie Train to Busan (2016) and his role as Gilgamesh in Marvel movie Eternals (2021).

Don made an appearance at the recent 12th annual Beautiful Artist Awards where he bagged the Film Artist Award for his role in the crime action movie The Roundup (2022).

During his acceptance speech, Don thanked his colleagues from The Roundup, his family, and his “wife whom [he] loves very much”.

Don Lee and sports reporter-slash-fitness trainer Ye Jung Hwa have been dating since 2016. They met through their agency, Big Punch Entertainment, and were said to have bonded through their shared love of working out.

Jung Hwa is also known as “Korea’s prettiest fitness trainer”, and at 34, is 17 years younger than Don.

A representative from their agency confirmed that the pair indeed registered their marriage last year.

Don only follows two accounts on Instagram, one being the official page for Eternals and the other is Jung Hwa’s account.

Jung Hwa once named Don as her “ideal type”, and with the recent news of their marriage, it seems like everything was meant to be.

According to reports, the couple did not intentionally hide the news of their marriage, and many industry insiders were already aware of their marriage.

However, due to the pandemic and their busy schedules, they have yet to hold their wedding but will do so at a later date.
