Dilireba Accused Of Trying To Create News By Getting Lost On The Red Carpet
We wonder what was on her mind then.
Chinese actress Dilireba always brings a touch of glamour to any event she attends.
However, at the Tencent Video All Star Awards 2023 on Sunday (Dec 17); the 31-year-old Uyghur beauty’s outfit took second fiddle to how she seemingly got lost on the admittedly expansive red carpet.
Dressed in a white silk Julien Fournié haute couture gown embroidered with crystals and pearls, Dilireba was a vision as she stepped out of the car to walk her signature jaunt down the red carpet.
The hosts heaped praise on the actress calling her “almost as beautiful as a goddess” and a “three-dimensional beauty.”
Scroll down for the video.
That was before Dilireba was seen looking confused and wandering off behind the photo wall even though the host was standing in her line of sight.
Only when the male host bellowed, “Reba is gone!” did Dilireba realise her mistake, and quickly turned back towards them.
The female host jokingly described it as a “real princess on the run”, referring to the way actresses run in period dramas.
Netizens quickly took to social media with many gushing that Dilireba looked “so cute" as if she is “looking for her prince”.
Though we don’t think the newly minted Dior global ambassador needs more media coverage, others were less impressed.
They questioned if it was all an act to create buzz considering she is a red-carpet veteran and “the lady was clearly in front to guide her and yet [Dilireba] didn’t notice her.”
Some also highlighted that the event was divided into two areas based on the MBTI personality test, allowing celebs to choose freely where to walk, causing confusion for the actress.
Hmmm… Is Dilireba telling us something about her personality type?
