Did Super Junior Just Get Sexually Harassed On A Popular Mexican Talk Show?
Or is it a difference in culture?
It's always nice to see Asian acts receive warm welcome outside Asia, but when Super Junior were guests on popular Mexican talk show Montse y Joe to promote their world tour, things got a little too warm. As soon as the group entered the set, Super Junior leader Leeteuk jokingly asked one of the female hosts, Montse, if he could sit on her lap. After it was translated, the female host immediately grabbed the K-pop star and placed him on her lap. She then proceed to forcefully kiss the very shy Korean star. To be fair, the picture above showing Leeteuk grimacing in protest is a screenshot of a video where other Super Junior members went ecstatic. Some even volunteered to kiss and be kissed by Montse.
Watch the video to decide for yourself if it's cultural difference, a naughty but harmless act, or a moment worthy of a #MeToo hashtag.
