Taiwanese singer-actor Aaron Yan has never been one to shy away from expressing his no-nonsense opinions, be it about his former Fahrenheit bandmates, netizens being nosy about his sexuality, or people who stubbornly refuse to wear a mask during the current COVID-19 crisis.

In his latest Facebook post on April 9, which was written entirely in English, the 34-year-old went off on a rant about “how the world is suffering from your misguidance, hundreds of million infected, tens of thousands died, the losses financially world wide, medical system overloaded (sic)”.

“I’m surprised that you have the nerve addressing your own personal s*** on an international organisation conference, why won’t you just suck it up and shut the f*** up and do your job!”
