The teenager was accompanied by her famous mum to the shoot (after all, she is a minor) and according to reports, was described as a joy to work with. It's said that Dee, who is an endorsement queen herself, doled out plenty of encouragement to Elly throughout the shoot.
Pretty in pink
At the shoot, Elly was asked about how she usually poses for selfies, to which she said: “I like making ugly faces at the camera. I don’t keep any pretty photos of myself in my phone, and my camera roll is mostly filled with ugly pics of my friends. I usually take low-angle selfies because they turn out uglier that way.”
She was then asked to demonstrate some of her favourite selfie poses for the camera, which she obliged with zero hesitation.
She's one of a kind
Unsurprisingly, netizens had a lot to say about the photos.
One said, “Comparing the official photos and the behind-the-scenes snaps is akin to how I feel when I see some of my Tinder dates in real life after looking at their gorgeous profile pics. But in this case, Elly’s trying to look bad on purpose.”
Others wondered if it was okay for Elly to have these unflattering photos on the internet as “they will definitely be brought up later in her career".

There’s also speculation that Elly could eventually follow in Dee’s footsteps and foray into the variety show circuit when she grows up.
