David Tao, 52, Age-Shamed; Netizens Say He And His 35-Year-Old Wife Look More Like “Father And Daughter”

Another week, another celebrity getting age-shamed. This time, the spotlight is on Taiwanese singer David Tao.
Recently, a recent photo of the 52-year-old star and his wife, Taiwanese heiress Penny Jiang, 35, has been making the rounds online.
What got netizens talking was how “thin” and “old” David looked. Some even said that he was a far cry from his usual handsome self.
Besides pointing out his “deep laugh lines” and “receding hairline”, they also commented that David and his wife looked more like “father and daughter”.
"The two do not look like husband and wife, more like they are from different generations," wrote one netizen.

There were also netizens who could not get over how “weird” David’s face looked.
While some blamed it on beauty filters, others speculated that he had probably gone for facial fillers recently so his face still looks a little unnatural.
In comparison, netizens said Penny looks youthful and slim, and doesn't look like someone who’s a mother of a six-year-old.
We think the salt and pepper look suits him
This is not the first time David's looks are attracting attention for the wrong reasons.
Last year, the singer made headlines for sporting "a bit of a pot belly", and a full head of grey hair.
