Dayyan is known for his 2001 award-winning short film, Bus 44, as well as the critically-acclaimed 2011 movie Inseparable, whichstarred Hongkong star Daniel Wu and disgraced Oscar winner Kevin Spacey.
Dayyen's Weibo post
On May 27, the 45-year-old director wrote on Weibo: “Come! Let’s make a movie together about the gambling king one day!”, tagging Daniel in the post, and adding that he "went to high school in Macau", which was where the late casino magnate made his fortune. He also posted two photos of Stanley, one of the billionaire in his youth and another, in full regalia. Dayyan also included a pic of Daniel, who the director felt bore an uncanny resemblance to Stanley.

Netizens were quick to agree that Daniel should play the casino king if a movie was ever made about his life.
“They really look alike! Please make the movie come true!” wrote a fan, while another insisted that the movie has to be made now that Shixian has said it.
What do you think? Would Daniel make a convincing Stanley Ho?
