“Let’s Agree To Meet Again In Heaven”: Christine Fan To Her Dad, Who Passed Away From A Bad Fall Earlier This Month
Her father’s funeral reportedly took place yesterday (Dec 15) at a church in Taichung and was attended only by family members.

The past couple of months have been really tough for Christine Fan, 46.
The Taiwanese singer made her showbiz comeback with a two-night concert in October, but just a month later, had to deal with the passing of her grandma.
Then on Dec 4, merely three weeks after her grandma’s death, Christine’s 75-year-old dad suffered a fatal fall.
Christine’s dad had lived with Parkinson’s disease for a number of years, and his health was on a decline prior to his passing.

Christine, who has been with busy funeral arrangements, took to her IG yesterday (Dec 15), to post a heartfelt message to her late father.
Sharing an old pic of her younger self hugging her dad, Christine wrote: “My handsome dad, whom I respect and love the most: No matter how much I can’t bear to part with you, you are free from all burden, and are now resting in the arms of God. Let’s agree to meet again in heaven. Your loving daughter.”
Christine also included an obituary in her post. In it, she revealed that her dad, Ining Fan, served "over 30 years as President of Trinity Technologies in Taichung". He was also a "dedicated dog lover", who "rescued and raised many strays over several decades".
"He enjoyed reading, taking walks with his dogs, spending time with his family and friends [and] watching sports," added Christine, who also mentioned that her dad was an "avid fan" of the Formosa Dreamers Basketball Team, and Blackie Chen's basketball league, P.League+.
Christine’s followers and friends, including Mediacorp actress Yvonne Lim and Taiwanese singer-songwriter WeiBird, have since sent their condolences, and to cheer her on.
According to reports, her father’s funeral took place yesterday at the Eternal Life Lutheran Church in Taichung. A representative from Christine’s management also revealed that the ceremony was only attended by members of the family.
