Chris Wang assures his marriage is going well

Speculation is rife that Chris Wang’s marriage is on the rocks, after it was alleged that he tried to go after Mickey Huang’s girlfriend Summer Meng when they were filming Taiwanese TV series Aim High in 2014.

The Taiwanese actor took to Facebook immediately to clarify the issue in a 502-word post yesterday afternoon. He also made an apology to Mickey in his post, which has since been deleted less than two hours after it went up.

In the initial post, Chris expressed his appreciation to those who had believed and supported him. He also said that he would not hold grudges against people who had disturbed his wife during this period of time and promised to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were just being concerned. Chris also apologised to Mickey although he did not elaborate about it. However, these phrases were edited out in his most recent post on Facebook.

Chris’ manager stepped out and explained that the original content of his post was about him and his family only, and completely unrelated to Mickey. Thus, the company told Chris to remove Mickey from it as they felt that there was no need to mention the Taiwanese host as they did not wish to bring him unnecessary attention. They later told netizens not to look too much into minor details and urged them not to make any wild guesses.

Another of Chris’ manager also pointed out that the 35-year-old’s marriage was better than ever and revealed that Chris and his wife are already making plans to travel at the end of this year. “Any onlooker could tell that they were more in love now than ever!” the manager quipped.

Chris further backed up this point in his latest post which included a family picture together with their son Kaikai and daughter Leilei, all smiling happily. His caption wrote: ”I love you guys and will always be there no matter what happens,” reassuring the public that everything’s fine.
