Now that it's been almost six months since Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu's passing, her family, friends and fans sure miss her dearly.

So can you imagine how bittersweet it must have felt when they saw this girl who's now making the news for looking like the late star?

According to reports, a 24-year-old female university student from Chongqing, China, recently went viral after sharing travel photos of her trip to Qinghai.

The girl, who goes by online moniker Yi Gu Bi Gu, gained widespread attention for her striking resemblance to Barbie.

Barbie passed away from influenza-related pneumonia while holidaying in Japan with her family in February this year. She was 48.

“She really looks so much like her. It's like another version of Barbie Hsu (Big S) from a parallel universe!," said one fan.

It's said that the girl is currently a student at Chongqing Medical University. She started a personal account on social media on July 23 and had 8 new posts within just 11 days.

Her follower count also rose from zero to 28,000 and counting, with many of her posts receiving over 10,000 likes.

In response to her newfound fame, the girl clarified that she has no intentions to “profit off” the actress.

"I've never thought of imitating her, and will not be using her to make money," she said.
