The 11.11 sales may be over and if you are feeling guilty over your multiple purchases, we think it can’t beat what happened to a Chinese lady waiting for her flight at the Shanghai Pudong Airport.

The unnamed women who had time to kill before boarding, decided to do some 11.11 shopping on Taobao.

However, she was so engrossed in looking at her phone that she did not hear the announcement to board. She only realised she had missed her flight after the plane took off.

At least she was lucky enough to have airport staff help her get on the next available flight out.

In a video posted to Weibo, the lady could be seen sitting on the floor and sobbing. She could also be heard blaming the ending hours of the 11.11 sales and that there were many things she wanted to buy.

At least the airport staff were kind enough to help her change her ticket and get onto the next available flight.

Probably an important reminder for us as well since the Black Friday sales (Nov 24) are coming up.
