Chinese Star Hu Yitian Spotted Working As McDonald’s Deliveryman
No, he has not left his day job as an actor.
Chinese actor Hu Yitian, 31, shot to fame in 2017 after starring in the hit romcom series A Love So Beautiful.
Following that, the 1.88m-tall star, who is also known for his boy-next-door good looks, went on to bag leading roles in popular dramas such as Unrequited Love and Dt.Appledog's Time (2021).
However, Yitian’s popularity streak did not last, and he was recently reported to have not taken up any acting jobs for close to two years. It was also said that Yitian although still received acting offers during this time, he was picky about roles he took on.
Recently, Yitian was spotted clad in the Mcdonald's uniform carrying a thermal delivery bag. He had accidentally dropped an order on the ground, and was said to appear flustered when it happened.
Fans immediately gathered to express their concern for Yitian, and some wondered if he was facing financial difficulties.
However, some netizens observed that Yitian was taking selfies while on the job, and also had crew members following him around with cameras.
They surmised that Yitian was not actually working for McDonald’s, and was only filming a “one-day job experience” type of video for a programme or an advertisement.
An employee of the McDonald’s outlet was also said to have confirmed that Yitian was participating in a promotional activity for the fast food brand.
It was later reported that Yitian has been confirmed to appear in an upcoming drama Tian Cai Nu You (天才女友), and will soon be making his return to the screens.
Looks like Yitian is doing just fine, and fans can put their worries to rest.
