This has placed many artistes on a sudden indefinite hiatus, with a number of them staying indoors while keeping fans updated on their day-to-day lives via social media.

One of them is Chinese actress Viann Zhang (also known as Zhang Xinyu), who has been posting photos and recipes of her cooking on Weibo. But instead of healthy-looking soups or boring salads, the 32-year-old has been whipping up rather sinful-looking dishes like biang biang noodles, mashed potatoes, and kimchi stew.
