Disney’s much-hyped live-action remake of Mulan finally hit theatres in Singapore last Friday (Sep 4), after a number of delays, no thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately, judging from the reviews, the US$200 million (S$280 mil) film has failed to live up to expectations. Especially in China.
