Chinese Influencer ‘Snake Spirit Boy’ Contracts COVID-19 While In The US; Says He’s “Disfigured”

Chinese influencer Liu Zi Chen, better known by his nickname 'Snake Spirit Boy', has tested positive for COVID-19 while in the US.

Zi Chen shot to overnight fame in 2015 after photos of him posing naked and covered with dollar bills went viral. He’s been called 'Snake Spirit Boy' by netizens because of his scarily huge eyes (that may or may not have been digitally altered) and unnaturally pointy chin, which netizens said are reminiscent of snake spirits in Chinese folklore.

He’s stayed in the spotlight by posting controversial content, including the time in 2016 when he called Singapore a “place with no standards” that he “hates the most”.
