The 27-year-old, who is one of China’s most in-demand actresses now, was recently revealed to have donated 500,000 yuan (about S$99,000) to COVID-19 relief efforts. It’s said to be the highest amount ever contributed among the young artistes. But instead of getting a pat on the back, poor Yang Zi ended up getting badly criticised by haters.
