Chinese Actor Gong Jun Threatens Legal Action Over Rumours That He Was A Male Escort & Has A Secret Child

Looks like netizens are not done digging up dirt on Chinese actor Gong Jun.

Last year, the 29-year-old, who shot to fame after starring in wuxia drama World of Honour, was accused of visiting a Japanese shrine (it turned out to be untrue and he just happened to be seen near a signpost of the shrine), and now netizens are claiming that he not only has a secret child but he also once worked as a male escort.

It all started when netizens uncovered a forum account with the username "gongjun91" and claimed that it belonged to Gong Jun.

Like Gong Jun, the user was born in 1991, studied at Tsinghua University, and his personal particulars also matched the actor’s. The registered contact number was that of Gong Jun's studio.

Soon there was speculation that he has a secret child after screenshots of a 2012 post by gongjun91 asking about Down syndrome screening made the rounds on the Internet.

There were also claims that Gong Jun used to work in a well-known male escort agency and netizens allegedly found “proof” of him criticising The Untamed actor Xiao Zhan online in 2020.
