A lot has been going in China’s showbiz industry these days: from the casual blacklisting of celebs to the blanket ban on “sissy and effeminate” male stars.

Over the weekend, there were reports that the Chinese government has started cracking down on the “unhealthy lifestyle habits” of celebs, and what they post on Weibo will allegedly be heavily restricted soon.

According to these reports, the Cyberspace Administration of China invited 50 of the most popular artistes and their respective teams to a symposium recently, where they were briefed on the new policies.

While these policies have yet to be made public, inside sources have revealed what they claim to be the new rules.
