Charlie Young is 5 months pregnant
The actress raised suspicion when she hid her tummy behind a cushion for a photo
Hong Kong actress Charlie Young was speculated to be pregnant after fellow actress and good friend Angelica Lee posted a group photo with the actress and Hong Kong singer Gigi Leung on New Year’s Day (Jan 1).
The photo showed Charlie covering her tummy with a cushion, successfully keeping her five-month pregnant belly out of sight.
The 42 year-old actress had originally intended to keep her pregnancy low-key and away from the limelight. She was left with no choice but to make an official announcement through her manager after the paparazzi pressed her for a confirmation.
Although Charlie confirmed her pregnancy, she remained tightlipped about the gender of her baby. She also said, “I’m really happy, I thought I could take up another project after promoting Cold War 2 but a surprise gift appeared, I’m thankful for this gift from Heaven”.
The actress tied the knot with Singaporean husband, Khoo Shao Tze in 2013 at a star-studded wedding bash held in Singapore.
