Charlene Choi Fangirls Over Stephen Chow After He Asks Her Out For Dessert On IG

Charlene Choi is a huge star in her own right but the 39-year-old still gets starstruck.

Remember how she got so excited when she managed to snag pics with all four Heavenly Kings?

Well, the Twins singer, who is affectionately known as Ah Sa, had another fangirl moment recently and she couldn’t wait to show it off on social media.

In case you haven’t heard, Stephen Chow, 60, who previously had no social media presence, started an Instagram account last month and has been using the platform to recruit talent.

His first post was a call for Web3 talent to develop new fields such as blockchain technologies.

Last week, he uploaded a post asking his 277K followers which character they would most want to see on the metaverse.

The post sparked discussion among netizens, who flooded the comments section with their wishlist.

Charlene, who is a Stephen Chow fan, wrote that she would like to see Chow Sing Sing from 1991 comedy Fight Back To School and Ling Ling Fat from 1996’s Forbidden City Cop. 

Though she only posted the comment five days later, Stephen took notice of it and replied: “Long time no see, when are you free to meet for dessert?”

Needless to say, Charlene lost all chill and responded: “Wow! My idol replied to me! I’ve fainted!” along with a few ambulance emojis.

Her reply garnered more than 580 likes, with fans commenting that they too would faint if she replied to their comments.

And just in case her followers didn’t see the post, Charlene shared a screenshot of Stephen’s reply and posted it on Instagram Stories with the text: “I’ve fainted!”
