Cecilia Yip’s Friend Posted An Unretouched Photo Of Them & Got Accused Of “Betraying” The 58-Year-Old Star, Who Got Age Shamed (Again)

Besides pointing out her white hair (which women are rightfully embracing more and more these days, by the way), reports also zeroed in on the “obvious wrinkles around her eyes” and “receding hairline”.

Man Ling was even basically accused of “betraying” Cecilia by posting the unretouched shot. Um, seriously?

Unfortunately, the star was subjected to such age-shaming shenanigans earlier this month as well, when she posted a video of herself munching on street food on Douyin.

She was described as looking “haggard”, having “sagging skin”, and “looking older than her age”. Netizens also expressed their concerns about how skinny she was, saying that they hope she eats more and puts on some weight.

On the bright side, many fans also showered Cecilia with praises in Man Ling’s post, complimenting them both for how “cute” they are (it really is a very sweet photo of two friends). Some also said that she has actually done a pretty good job at maintaining her appearance.

We don’t know about you, but we think she still looks great (and that this age-shaming nonsense should have been left behind a long time ago).
