Cecilia Cheung Tears Up When Na Ying Tells Her She’s An Amazing Mother
They had a heart-to-heart talk on a recent ep of Sisters Who Make Waves 2.
A recent episode of the show showed Ceci, Na Ying, Yang Yuying and Hu Jing discussing this very topic.
Ceci shared, “I’ve talked about this with Na Ying before, and told her that I don’t know what I should do since others are so much better than me. I tend to forget the choreography too.” Na Ying then said, “Do you know why you’re like this? It’s because you’re only thinking about your sons.”
Na Ying being the voice of reason
Yuying added, “I remember the time when she was about to cry ‘cos she said she misses her sons. They were still in Shanghai at the time, and she told us that she had to bring all of them over [to Changsha] or she wouldn’t be able to focus.”
Na Ying then said to Cecilia, “I hope that you can open yourself up to others. You’re putting in so much effort to earn money for your sons to live a better life, but nobody understands that. You need to show who you really are to the world, and that’s the only way that the public will know that you’re not the person that they misunderstand you to be. Do you know how this important this is?”
At this point, Hu Jing moved to sit next to Ceci, who was tearing up.
Ceci looked emotional during the heart-to-heart
Na Ying then recounted the time she offered Ceci a biscuit. The latter tried it and found it very tasty and then decided to save the rest of the biscuit for her sons.
“You’re an amazing mother...," Na Ying then said. "All you think about is your kids, and you’ve lost track of who you are. You can’t let anyone see you crumble, so you’re holding on [with everything that you have]. That’s incredibly difficult.”
Chin up, Ceci!
Na Ying and Hu Jing then encouraged Ceci to be more honest with herself and to stop hiding from her problems, and to put her best foot forward for the rest of the competition.
