Cecilia Cheung’s Agency Refutes Rumours That She Has Cancer

Earlier this year, Cecilia Cheung sparked concerns about her health after she abruptly cancelled all her work commitments in August.

At that time, her agency said the Hong Kong star was unwell and urged fans not to worry as she would return to work as soon as possible.

Recently, speculations that she's sick have been spreading on Weibo after the 43-year-old was seen speaking with a hoarse voice in several videos.

Rumours are claiming that she has cancer and that it is in the “advanced stage”.

They also said Ceci's health is deteriorating.

Her agency has since dismissed the baseless rumours, saying Ceci has resumed work and recently attended several fashion week events in Europe.

It added that though she was on the verge of losing her voice, she remained professional and persisted with filming a commercial.
