Cecilia Cheung, 44, Looks Really Different In First Public Appearance After Year-Long Hiatus

In August 2023, Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung, 44, announced that she would be taking a break from work, abruptly halting all magazine and commercial shoots, endorsement projects and concerts.

According to her agency, she was “unwell”.

After the announcement, Cecilia went under the radar and her last Instagram post is  dated November 2023.

Some fans were concerned about her health, while others suspected she was pregnant with her fourth child.

Cecilia has two sons — Lucas, 17, and Quintus, 14 — from her marriage with ex-hubby Nicholas Tse. Her youngest son, Marcus, was born in 2018, but his dad’s identity remains unknown to the public.

The star recently attended a Valentino event, her appearance causing a media ruckus.

Netizens had a field day in the comments sections with one asking: “Has she returned after finishing postpartum confinement?”

There were also a number who felt she looked different.

“Did she get cosmetic surgery done? I couldn’t recognise her at first,” read a comment, while another agreed: “It’s a shame that she doesn’t look like how she did before her break.”
