“I Saw Him Sitting Alone”: Carman Lee Reassures Netizen, Who Thought Her Husband Was With Another Woman When He Took A Pic Of The Star

Hong Kong actress Carman Lee, 56, is best known for her role as Xiao Long Nu (Little Dragon Girl) in the 1995 drama adaptation of the wuxia novel, The Return Of The Condor Heroes.

And it seems like the actress, who's been dubbed ‘The Most Beautiful Xiao Long Nu’, is as stand-up as her character in real life.

Earlier this week, a Chinese netizen took to social media to share a picture her husband had snapped of Carman when he ran into her at an airport lounge.

Instead of sharing his excitement, the netizen, who described her husband as a “super straight guy with no interest in frivolous things like celeb news", had worries he was with another woman, who knew who Carman was. 

Basically she thought he was having an affair.

According to the netizen, her husband is not familiar with celebrities, and would not be able to recognise more than a handful of them. Hence, she found it strange that her husband was able to recognise Carman, and doubted if he was really alone.

She shared her suspicions on an online forum, seeking the opinions of other netizens. 

She even tagged Carman in a comment under her post, asking: “My husband should still be sitting opposite you, can you help me check if he’s with another woman?”

And guess what? Carman replied.

Though she did not respond to the comment until much later, Carman wrote: “Hi, I hope you can sleep without worries tonight. Today, when I was at the airport lounge, I had a feeling that the man opposite me was taking a photo of me. I saw him sitting alone.”

Not only was the actress cool with her photo being sneakily taken, she even sought to clear the poor guy’s name, which was something she did not need to do.

Besides being entertained by the whole situation, many netizens were impressed with Carman’s response, and her comment has received over ten thousand likes to date.
