Calvin Chen Crops Fellow Fahrenheit Member-Turned-Frenemy Aaron Yan Out Of Throwback Photo During Live Stream
It's no secret that the members of Taiwanese boyband Fahrenheit aren't all on the best terms with each other.
While Jiro Wang, Calvin Chen and Wu Chun continue to be best buds since the group broke up in 2012, Aaron Yan has been an outcast.
When Fahrenheit celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2020, Jiro, Calvin and Wu Chun took to social media to show off pics of their reunion.
Aaron, on the other hand, was conspicuously missing from the festivities, as if he was never part of the group.
And now, it looks like Aaron has been erased from memory again.
Recently, Calvin went on live stream to sell Disney products and he decided to flash a throwback photo of Fahrenheit at an event in Disneyland 15 years ago.
"Let me introduce to you guys, this is not photoshopped. [Here's] Jiro, Wu Chun, Snow White, Belle and Sleeping Beauty," beamed Calvin.
When the live stream host teased that the guys looked like Disney princes, Calvin promised that "next time [he] would invite the other two princes [in the picture] to be in his live streams."
But wait, since it's a throwback pic of Fahrenheit, shouldn't there be four members instead of three? Where's Aaron?
Turns out, Calvin had cropped Aaron out of the original picture.
Netizens, unsurprisingly, had a lot of say about this.
""Doesn't [Fahrenheit] have four members?" asked one netizen,
"This is hilarious, [you] actually purposely cropped out someone (Aaron)," scoffed another.
One netizen also said: "You wanted to sound sentimental, and even mentioned Fahrenheit. Yet you cropped Aaron out, that's just too much."
This is not the first time shots were fired between Calvin and Aaron.
Back in 2020, during an interview on Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai’s talk show Hua Hua Wan Wu 2, Aaron openly admitted that he's not friends with the other Fahrenheit members. He even professed to hating "the one [he's] always involved in gossip with." (Yes, he was referring to Jiro)
After the episode aired, Calvin took to his Instagram to share an indirect message to a certain someone whom netizens guessed was Aaron.
He wrote: "Sometimes, certain things in life are no big deal. Just laugh through it and it's over. What's most important is that you're healthy, bless you~"
