Thai star Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree, 24, rose to fame after starring in 2020 romantic comedy series 2gether. The following year, he appeared in the Thai remake of Boys Over Flowers, playing the leader of F4, Thyme AKA Dao Ming Si.

The star, who is signed to Grammy Television, a subsidiary of Thailand’s largest media conglomerate, GMM Grammy, saw his popularity grow exponentially over the past two years. His Instagram followers rose from 100k to a whopping 16.7mil.

And if that isn't a testament to how popular he is now, Bright recently graduated from university, and close to 2000 of his fans booked an entire football field to celebrate the happy occasion with him.

Bright graduated from Bangkok University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing

Bright was initially studying at Thammasat University’s Faculty of Engineering under a full scholarship, but had to take a year of academic leave in order to focus on his acting career.

However, his scholarship didn’t allow for him to delay his studies. During his second year, he enrolled in Bangkok University, where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

It was the right move for him to take time off school to focus on his acting career as he would soon go on to become a household name both domestically and overseas.

Dew, Win and Nani were all present at the graduation ceremony

According to Thai media, Bright was joined by his family at the graduation ceremony.

Bright’s 2gether co-star Win, who played his boyfriend, and his Grammy Television pals, including Off, Jos, Dew and Nani were all at the event as well.

Fans who gathered to witness Bright’s big day ordered food from 26 different places, and also presented him with gifts from fans all over the world.

The overall value of gifts received by Bright that day were said to be worth at least NT$10mil (S$44K).
