Bosco Wong Finds Out He Wasn’t Invited To Chinese Variety Show ’Cos His Ex Myolie Wu Would Be There Too

Talking to someone about their exes can sometimes get a little awkward. Well, unless you're talking to Bosco Wong. 

The 44-year-old Hong Kong actor was a recent guest star on Ron Ng and Tavia Yeung's Chinese variety show Yi Yuan Xin Xun 2025, together with Hong Kong actress Nancy Wu. 

During the show, Bosco, Nancy and Ron called up fellow ex-TVB colleague Linda Chung, who gushed to Nancy that she really misses her. 

Nancy also mentioned that she'd be meeting Linda on April 30 as they are both guests on Yi Yuan Xin Xun 2025 on that day.

At this point, a FOMO Bosco interjected: "You're coming again? Why didn't anyone invite me back?" 

However, Bosco also chuckled that he actually can't make it that day as he will be busy filming the upcoming sequel of Charmaine Sheh's The Queen Of News.

But here's the funny part. Turns out, there really is a valid reason to why Bosco wasn't invited onto the show on the same day as Nancy and Linda.

"Myolie Wu will be there too," Nancy quipped.

Bosco and Myolie had a high-profile eight-year relationship before breaking up in 2012.

The now 44-year-old actress married businessman Philip Lee, 48, in 2015, and they have three children — Brendan, six, Ryan, four and Liam, two. Meanwhile, Bosco has remained hush-hush about his relationship status since his split with Myolie. 

So what was Bosco's reaction when he heard his ex's name?

He exclaimed laughingly: "Ohhh. No wonder they didn't invite me! Very good, I'm dying from laughter."

Nancy, who's one of Myolie's closest showbiz pals, chimed in: "Yes, so that's why there won't be Bosco Wong."

"If both [Bosco and Myolie] are here, then the rest of us don't have to come anymore," Ron mused.

But we wonder if the ex-couple would actually be game to appear together though. After all, Bosco did share previously that they're on good terms and he still messages Myolie to wish her happy birthday every year.

Any producers brave enough to invite them both?
