Bosco Wong Shares Hug With Ex-Girlfriend Myolie Wu's Husband During Chance Encounter In KL

Who says breakups always have to end on a sour note?

Hong Kong stars Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong have long shown that exes can remain on good terms. As it turns out, Myolie's husband, Philip Lee, gets along with Bosco too.

Recently, the 53-year-old British-born businessman was spotted in Kuala Lumpur, where he attended the wedding of TVB stars Mat Yeung and Lisa Ch'ng on August 2.

Myolie, however, was not seen at the wedding.

During his stay in KL, Philip headed to Jalan Alor Food Street with friends, where he unexpectedly crossed paths with Bosco, who was in the city for the Weibo Cultural Exchange Night – Malaysia Stop.

According to a now-viral video, Bosco, wearing a face mask and bucket hat, was about to leave a private dining room when he walked past Philip's table, seemingly unaware that he was there.

It was Philip who stood up first, waved and offered a handshake.

Bosco, who appeared to mistake Philip for a fan at first, looked momentarily surprised. But the moment they made eye contact, he recognised him immediately.

The actor warmly embraced Philip before giving him a friendly pat on the back.

The pair then exchanged a few words and shared another hug before going their separate ways.

The wholesome encounter quickly won over netizens, many of whom dubbed it the "hug of the century".

Others praised both men for handling the chance meeting with grace and maturity.

"I thought this moment was really nice. They stayed so classy for Myolie," wrote one netizen.

Bosco and Myolie dated for eight years before ending their relationship in 2012.

The actress married Philip in 2015, and the couple now have three sons — Brendan, six, Ryan, four and Liam, two.
