Fans of Blackpink’s Rosé are up in arms after UK’s Elle magazine cropped the singer out from a group photo at Paris Fashion Week.

The 28-year-old had posed with model Hailey Bieber, actress Zoë Kravitz, and singer Charli XCX at Yves Saint Laurent’s (YSL) 2026 Spring/Summer womenswear show.

The original pic, released by W Magazine and other media, Rosé can be seen standing on the far right.

But when Elle UK posted the snap on Instagram, Rosé had vanished.

Netizens were furious, flooding Elle’s IG with protests and demanding to know why Rosé was cropped.

Some even accused the magazine of racism.

To make matters worse, Rosé isn’t just any guest. She’s been YSL’s global ambassador since 2020, and since January this year, also the face of YSL Beauté.

In other words, if anyone deserved to be front and centre, it was her.

The drama didn’t end there. Charli XCX also posted a photo where Rosé looked “blacked out” by a shadow.

After the backlash, Elle UK pulled the post and issued an apology.

Their explanation? Rosé had been “cropped out of a group photo for size” and that no offence was intended.

“Elle UK remains committed to ensuring our future coverage represents the full spectrum of our audience we so greatly respect,” it wrote.
