Beluga Whale Shows Off Impressive 18-Pack Abs In Aquarium

If you're feeling stuck in your fitness routine, a trip to see a particular whale could help get you back on track.

In a video posted online, a beluga whale at the Atlantis Sanya aquarium in China is seen following its trainer’s commands, performing various movements.

One command had the whale bend forward, revealing its defined midsection.

Is it just us or was the beluga showing off like gym bros in front of the mirror?

We counted, and it has not a six, or even an eight, but a 16-pack.

However, before anyone considers crash dieting or starting a core workout (because those alone won’t give you abs), think again.

Experts have explained that the beluga’s impressive-looking midsection is actually an illusion.

In fact, those "abs" are made up of thick skin and blubber, up to 15 cm thick.

This layer allows belugas to adapt to the cold and harsh conditions of the Arctic region where they are from.

So why doesn't our fat look like that?
