Barbie Hsu’s Hubby Says Taiwan Is Now “Full Of Hate" After A Cabby Cursed At Him For Speaking With A Beijing Accent
A tense situation.
Ever since he got married to Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu almost 10 years ago, Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei has split his time between China and Taiwan. And Xiaofei seemed to thrive with this lifestyle... until this week.
In the wee hours of Tuesday morning (Jan 15), Xiaofei posted a video of him arguing with a Taiwanese cabby. According to Xiaofei’s post, the cab driver had an issue with Xiaofei speaking with a Beijing accent and started to curse at him. “This used to be a place where I was energised with love but now it’s full of hate. You can find people in Taiwan to beat me up but I will never let you off for scolding me [a cuss word involving a person's mum]!” he wrote.
He also wrote in another post, which he has since deleted, where he proudly declared that he's from Beijing and that his investments in Taiwan are so “his family can live happily”. “You can hate me but if you scold me, you better [expletive] apologise to me,” he added.
