Chinese Actress Bai Lu’s Blackheads Can Be Seen On Screen All Because Her Drama Was Shot In HD

Is this a result of China banning the overuse of beauty filters in dramas?

Remember how the Chinese government banned the overuse of beauty filters to promote “healthy and masculine aesthetics” last year?

Well, this is apparently what happens when you remove that filter in this age of high-definition television.

Oops...

Recently, a scene from Chinese drama Till The End Of The Moon, which stars Chinese stars Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi, went viral because it got too up close and personal.

Thanks to the high-definition format, the pores and make-up creases on the faces of stars became visible on screen.

A zoomed-in shot of Bai Lu's nose (see above) also revealed her blackheads  and the dead skin around the area.

After the scene aired, netizens have urged the actress to "do something" about her skin. Or maybe use a filter.
