Viral Japanese dance group Avantgardey, who rose to international fame after taking part in America’s Got Talent in 2022, are known for many things: their synchronised dance routines, exaggerated facial expressions, and, of course, their identical bobs and navy school uniforms.

Recently, one of the group’s most popular members, Nona, posted a video of herself dancing without her blunt-banged wig and pinafore on Instagram. Boy, did it cause a stir.

The clip starts with Nona dancing in her signature quirky look.

Then, as the music changes, she appears in a cropped white tee and without her wig.

With her delicate facial features and sleek short bob, she looks strikingly cool. In fact, we think she resembles TVB actress Elaine Yiu?
