Taiwanese Singer Aska Yang Rents A 200 Sqm Place In Xiamen For Just S$640 A Month

In a recent clip from the second season of Chinese reality talent show Shine! Super Brothers (which is similar to Call Me By Fire), some of the male artistes were seen chatting about their living arrangements.

While some of them have to stay long-term in hotels (which would undoubtedly cost a bomb), Aska revealed that he rents a place in the Xiamen countryside for 3,000 yuan a month.

That’s around S$640, by the way, and his place is a pretty roomy 200 sqm space (he didn’t specify if it’s a house or apartment).

“I have no stress in my life,” he declared.

However, some netizens were skeptical about the surprisingly low price and speculated that Aska probably isn’t living on Xiamen Island itself.

Many Hongkong and Taiwanese stars have packed up and moved to China in recent years, with many even bringing their families with them.

Taiwanese singer Will Liu’s entire family now lives with him in Shanghai, while former Fahrenheit member Wu Chun no longer has to travel back and forth between Brunei and China now that his wife and two kids have reportedly settled down in Shanghai with him as well.
