Are Wedding Bells Ringing Soon For Stanley Ho’s Daughter Laurinda Ho And Chinese Actor Shawn Dou?
Shawn was seen accompanying Laurinda at all three days of Stanley’s funeral.
Hongkong casino king Stanley Ho’s funeral on July 10 attracted a ton of media coverage as it was attended by many members of Hongkong's social, political and showbiz elite, who were all there to pay respects to the late billionaire. The media were also trained on Stanley’s very large family — he is survived by three wives, 16 children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren — to see if they could get any scoop on the gambling king's headline-making descendants.
One of the talking points was how Chinese actor Shawn Dou, who is dating Stanley’s daughter, Laurinda, was present at all three days of Stanley’s funeral.
They're super sweet on social media
According to reports, Shawn, who’s based in China, had flown to Hongkong weeks earlier so he could serve out his quarantine in time for the funeral.
It's said that even though Laurinda and Shawn only went public with their relationship last year, the couple has already gained the approval of Laurinda's family.
Gotta keep fit
On Tuesday (Jul 14), Laurinda posted an Instagram Story of Shawn working out at a gym, which apparently is in Laurinda's house. The clip was accompanied with a “#StayHome” hashtag.
Now that Hongkong is currently experiencing its third wave of COVID-19 infections, it is believed that Shawn is living with Laurinda and her elder sister Florinda as the latter had posted a video of her working out in the same gym a few days earlier. According to Apple Daily, the trio are staying in a mansion in Hongkong. [Ed: Who else is impressed by the size of their home gym?]
As a result, reports are now saying that since Shawn and Laurinda are already living together, chances are a wedding is on the horizon too.
