Taiwanese singer-actress Annie Yi found herself in hot soup over the weekend 'cos of what she said on a talkshow.

On the show, Annie described late Cantopop diva Anita Mui’s life as “tragic”, going on to comment that Anita “looked for love her entire life”. Annie’s comments did not go down well with netizens, who immediately began criticising the 52-year-old for her insensitive comments.

Although the producers of the show quickly took down the video of Annie’s interview, damage was already done. Netizens had saved the video, and started circulating them online.
