Angie Chiu’s Hotel Room Infiltrated by Stalker Who Sniffed Her Bed
That's creepy.
We’ve all heard bizarre stories about overzealous fans, but every now and then, one surfaces that’s so unhinged it leaves everyone stunned.
Case in point: a fan allegedly sneaking into Hong Kong actress Angie Chiu's hotel room.
According to posts circulating online, a deranged fan reportedly tailed the 71-year-old star back to her hotel in an unnamed city and things quickly escalated.
As if stalking the The Legend Of The White Snake star wasn’t creepy enough, the woman somehow managed to get into Angie’s room.
It’s said that while hotel staff were cleaning and left the door open, the fan slipped inside and hid.
A whistleblower claimed that after the staff left, the woman climbed onto Angie’s bed and sniffed it, repeating, “It smells so good.”
She then rummaged through Angie’s personal belongings and later bragged about her actions online.
The fan’s disturbing behaviour sparked outrage, and the hashtag “Angie Chiu’s hotel stalker goes wild” started trending on Weibo.
Enraged netizens demanded the hotel investigate its severe security lapses and report the case to the police.
“Even at an age where she could be a grandmother, Angie still has to deal with something this shocking,” one fan said.
Rumour has it that Angie has since hired bodyguards for protection, and the hotel has installed a room-monitoring system to prevent similar incidents.
However, neither Angie nor her team has publicly addressed this specific incident.
